BMR Owners: Scooter and DeeDee McMillan
Blue Mist Rising Enterprises started out as the Blue Mist Rising Drum Circle, in March of 2005. We then began to expand our jewelry making and knife collecting hobby into BMR-Creations. And in the process we began making and selling more than just jewelry. In late 2009, after spending two years getting all the gear we needed one piece at a time. We were finally able to add the DJ business, BMR-DJ Services. Being a DJ is something that I did a few times, many years ago as a hobby. And I have long since wished to do it again. So when the opportunity to get into the business presented itself, we jumped on it! So what about the Drum Circle and BMR Creations? Unfortunately, I have developed Parkinson's. And tremors and the loss of detail control in my left hand has left me with limited use of my left arm. So the Drum Circle was closed and BMR Creations has very limited production. Mostly it is carried on by Deedee and Kelly. But the DJ business is gaining strength as my disability has no affect on my DJ performance. And Deedee & Kelly do most of the physical duties. Because of my conditions however. I am unemployed. And what was originally intended to be a hobby for my Daughter and I to do to spend more quality time together. Is now more important than ever! And we appreciate, and truly cherish any opportunity that we receive.
